Engineering My career in building things that fly above 100km

Graduating from UC Berkeley with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, I decided to pursue a career in aeronautics.

My employment at Boeing Satellite Systems has provided me with deep insights into the systems engineering that goes into creating satellites, as well as knowledge of the components, orbital maneuvers, and analysis methods required to make the mission a success. As a GNC Engineer, I’ve contributed to control algorithm designs for GPS positioning and propulsion systems, as well as producing analysis on attitude determination errors.

My interests lie in Guidance, Navigation, and Control of space systems, Dynamics, Optimization, and Numerical Computing Methods for simulations. I hope to incorporate these techniques in contributing to advanced space systems that will improve access to space for all.

Other Stuff

Obviously, I’m more than just an engineer.

Below are some other activities that keep me busy.

Manga

The Japanese graphic novels that allow me to maintain my connection to Japan

Film

Movies! Movies! Movies! I like talking about this when I want to avoid doing actual work.

Flying

My journey venturing into the 3rd dimension of space.
